About this service
The first dose of rabies vaccine with a wound check and wash, for anyone bitten or scratched by a dog, cat or other mammal. The doctor grades the wound and sets the schedule for the remaining doses (usually four or five within a month). If the wound calls for immunoglobulin, the doctor will say so and it is charged separately.
